Five free calculators. Each one says what it shows, what you can do with it — and where it stops.
The limit: It is an estimate with an individual error of roughly ±10–15%. The biggest source of that error is the activity level, which you judge yourself.
OpenThe limit: It is one point inside the acceptable range (AMDR), not the one correct split. You supply the calories, so any error at the input carries into the grams.
OpenThe limit: The upper coefficients (1.6–2.0 g/kg) are sports-nutrition figures, not a population norm. Computing from current bodyweight overstates the target at high adiposity.
OpenThe limit: The “35 ml/kg” rule has no primary source. The reference values work differently: EFSA does not scale water by bodyweight and counts total water — including the water in food. Far outside 50–100 kg the linear rule drifts away from the guidelines.
OpenThe limit: It cannot tell muscle from fat, cannot see where fat sits, and is not valid for athletes, pregnancy or older adults. The thresholds are the international WHO ones; some national guidelines use lower ones.
OpenThe calculators provide reference information and are not medical advice.
A calculator answers “how much”. What to actually eat today, and how to keep it up, is the app’s job.
